TSS Visa - 482

ABOUT THIS VISA

Under this visa, an employer can sponsor a suitable skilled worker for the position they cannot find in Australia. This has further four categories:

Short-term stream
Medium-term stream
Labor agreement stream
Subsequent entrant

1- Short-term stream

This allows employers to nominate you if your skill is on occupation list (STSOL) and they cannot find any matching skill in Australian labor. It allows you to stay in Australia up to 2 years.

2- Medium-term stream

This allows employers to nominate you if your skill is on occupation list (MTSOL) and (ROL) and they can not find any matching skill in Australian labor. It allows you to stay in Australia up to 4 years.

3- Labor agreement stream

Under labor agreement, employer can nominate skilled labor to live and work in Australia for up to 4 years.

4- Subsequent entrant

This is for TSS visa holders and family members of 457. It allows to stay in Australia as long as the visa is valid.
