There can be many reasons to change your course or university, there might be a chance that you don’t like your course or even your university, you might have enrolled yourself into a course which is very difficult, may be you realized later on, that you want to change your field of study and pursue a different career path or maybe you chose an institute that does not match your needs. If you are going through any of these situations, then there are following steps that you need to keep in mind.

Before you think of switching your institute/university, make sure that the following conditions are met.

Completion of at least six months of study: In most universities, you must complete at least 6 months of the course of study that you had selected otherwise you can face difficulty enrolling yourself to a different institute. One of the situations would be getting an offer letter from the new institute in order to apply for a release letter from your current education provider.

Reason to change course or university: Many institutes will require a good reason to change a course. You will need to show considerate and relevant conditions to leave the institute. Once you have decided which course or institute to select, it is significant that your new choice matches your needs.
