Employer Nomination Scheme (186) Visa

ABOUT THIS VISA

Under this visa, the employer sponsors a skilled individual for the position they cannot find any Australian. This has further three categories:

Direct Entry Stream
Labor Agreement stream
Temporary Residence Transition stream

1- Direct Entry Stream

Under short term category, the Australian employer can nominate skilled worker to work and live in Australia permanently. To be qualified, the worker must meet all conditions of skill assessment, qualification, and English language ability.

2- Labor Agreement stream

Under Labor agreement, the employer can nominate labor to work in Australia permanently.

3- Temporary Residence Transition stream

This is for TSS visa holders (or relevant bridging visa) to stay in Australia permanently. For that, the skilled worker must have worked with the employer for minimum 3 years
